The Classic Book on Sales / Working / Living / Relationships

This book is perfect for everyone. It is funny, entertaining, motivating, and enjoyable.
This book is ideal for people at all stages of their careers.
I bought this before starting my 1st job in sales in my early 20s..... Using what I learned, I became both the top grossing and the most profitable sales person in the B2B Sales company.
My sales kept a Company of 48 people going for many years.
This book reminds us that "sales" is the oldest profession. Even teachers and parents need to learn the myriad of approaches to sell kids on the idea of learning!
I have owned my companies for many years, and I have bought this book in order to re-learn many of the lessons and techniques that I originally learned, internalized, and incorporated into an exceptional sales career.
Now although I have been blessed to be on the Board of Directors of a Media Company, I find myself needing to review these timeless gems.

One of My Favorite Books of All Time!!

Zig Ziglar lives on in his wonderful guide to life..."See You at the Top"...I had the good fortune to take the Zig Ziglar "I Can" course in 1985, and this book was used throughout the course. It's not just a self-help book, but a guide to a new way of thinking and living! I am truly a better person, look at things more positively, and take life one day at a time. I have given this book to friends and associates many times. A must read you will re-read over and over again!!

A Classic - But Parts are Getting Dated

This is a 40 year old classic - and is beginning to read that way. Zig Ziglar is one of the world's best known, prolific speakers and authors on topics such as selling and motivation. See You At The Top is his signature book, and is filled with Zig's homespun wisdom, stories, values, beliefs and sayings.
While elements such as his railing against Communist domination and some of his currently "politically incorrect" views on sexuality, religion, and lifestyle(not that Zig would care one whit about the political correctness) are either dated, potentially insulting to the reader, or both, and represent conservative (and in some cases dated) views - the premise is solid - have a set of values and beliefs, live by them. Cultivate good habits, see the good in yourself and others. Life life fully and live it "right".
This is not a "sales" oriented book, like many of Ziglar's works. This is a treatise on the philosophy of life - living it the Zig Ziglar way. It's worth the read, and is a classif and still popular 40 years later for a reason - it still resonates.
